Friends of Camp Verde Library is sponsoring a wreath decorating contest and silent auction. Make your wreath out of any dried items—let your imagination run wild. Barbed wire, twigs, tree branches, corks, tumble weeds, even paint brushes—the possibilities are limitless! Print out your entry form, fill it out and turn it in with your wreath at the library during regular hours Friday, Nov. 2, or Saturday, Nov. 3, between 9 am and 5 pm.

Groups, individuals, businesses, and schools are invited to submit wreaths. The wreaths will be displayed at Camp Verde Community Library from Nov. 5 to 17. Vote for your favorite wreath any time during the show. A silent auction will be held with the bidding closing on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 pm.

National Friends of Libraries Week: October 21-27, 2018

As part of the 13th annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week, we are taking the week to honor our Friends group.  The Friends of Camp Verde Library was established in 2015 and has given nearly $40,000 to the library since it opened in 2016. Currently, Friends members contribute annually to the 501(c)3 through membership fees with 10-12 of those members actively volunteering their time to manage book donations, run the Book Nook, stock the vending machine, and do other special projects like quilt raffles and the  Holiday Wreath Contest & Silent Auction .

"The library has played an important role in my life and in my family's life," said Friends president, Irene Peoble. "I truly enjoy being able to give something back."

Special Sale: To celebrate our Friends, we are offering a half-price sale to anyone who joins Friend or renews his/her membership during the week of October 22-27. New or renewing Friends will receive a coupon to purchase up to $10 worth of books, movies or music at full price and get their purchases for half price
