Camp Verde Community Library (CVCL) houses a collection of over 30,000 books, magazines, audiobooks and DVDs. CVCL’s membership in Yavapai Library Network gives patrons access to over one million titles. The Network maintains an online catalog searchable from the library or any Internet connected computer or device. Library patrons can place material on hold and pick it up at Camp Verde Community Library. Items not available in Yavapai County may be obtained through Interlibrary loan.
Online services include a variety of research and informational databases, thousands of downloadable eBook titles, and free WiFi inside and adjacent to the building. The library has 16 Internet connected computers, 2 catalog computers for public use, a Virtual Workforce station for job seekers, early literacy computers/tablets for preschoolers and a variety of tablets for patrons to use.
Check the Library Calendar for a schedule of programs for preschoolers through adults, including computer classes, writing groups, reading clubs, one-on-one assistance with e-readers, special programs and more. Reference and readers advisory assistance is available by phone or in person.

Most items owned by our library can be renewed one time online or by telephone if there is no Hold on the item.
When a Hold item arrives for you, you have 10 days to pick it up. You have the option to be notified of available Holds by email, through a text message to your smartphone, or you can call the library at 554-8380 and ask if your item is here.
If you place a lot of material on Hold, we recommend that you check to see if you have something to pick up whenever you visit the library.

GENERAL GUIDELINES STATEMENT
The purpose of the Camp Verde Community Library (LIBRARY) is to provide library services that satisfy the diverse needs of the citizens of Camp Verde and surrounding communities. It is vitally important that citizens have convenient and free access to the expanding world of ideas, information and creative experiences.
The long-term goal of the LIBRARY is the maximum use of its resources by the greatest number of people. The LIBRARY’S objectives are to select, acquire, organize and preserve materials and resources that will aid individuals in the pursuit of information, education, and cultural/recreational interests.
The LIBRARY serves as a community resource and referral center by providing free access to comprehensive and quality print, media and online informational materials and resources.
In addition to meeting the needs of regular patrons, the LIBRARY employs methods of service that may attract members of the community who have not traditionally been library users.
The policies stated herein will serve as guidelines for the day-to-day operation and function of the LIBRARY. All Library staff and volunteers shall be informed of these policies. Library staff will render services relevant to these expressed objectives.
REVISIONS OF POLICIES
The LIBRARY policies herein may be revised, as circumstances require, by the Library Director and enforced when adopted by the Town Council. View the Camp Verde Community Library Policies & Practices.
